Course Description

Let’s start with the first question, what is coaching? When I ask this question to rooms of leaders, the answers are usually not very clear. Because there are so many types of coaching available today.

This course is designed to improve your leadership coaching skills.

Leadership coaching will help your team be more productive, help you add more value as a leader, and help your team members engage some of their untapped potential.

By becoming a coaching leader you will be able to help your team members become more effective, solve their own problems, understand how to prioritize their work. Over time you will have more a more capable team that requires less oversight and can be trusted to complete assignments on their own.

This course will help you go from good intentions to great execution. You will learn how to lead a coaching session, what mental shifts you have to make to become a coach, help you to listen more effectively, and help you to know when to coach and when to provide other forms of assistance.

Great review of the coaching fundamentals from your previous course. The four (five SPCA) steps are excellent and I will definitely use them in the future. I especially like your advice to temper the number of people when you start your coaching journey. Excellent module!
