Course Description

Company culture is often confused with perks and benefits like foosball tables and massage chairs; but it is so much more.

What makes a culture healthy or unhealthy? How can you sustain the healthy elements and prune the unhealthy? Is there a correlation between healthy and high-performance and unhealthy and low-performance cultures?

Company culture is more important than ever, are your leaders getting it right? It plays such an important role every aspect of organizational life but it is often only considered when things have gone wrong.

Organizational culture is central to employee engagement, morale, and productivity; not to mention hiring and retaining top performers.

We like to think of workplace culture as the air of your organization, because no one notices it until it stinks! Culture is invisible, and intangible while at the same time critical to the functioning of your organization.

Workplace culture is the unseen operating system driving thousands of individual decisions and impacting millions of employees during and after work hours. What happens at work doesn’t stay at work, it affects all aspects of employees’ lives.

Who’s responsible for the health of your organization’s culture? Who can change it? Leaders set the cultural tone for the organization but there can be disconnects at different leadership levels.

This course delves into what organizational culture is, how to manage it, how to remediate it, and how to empower leaders who understand a healthy culture is their responsibility.

This course is probably the most important one in the ASCEND program. without good culture, an organization will die a slow, failing death.

Very good points on how you can impact organizational culture no matter what level you are in the organization. Great take-away : YOU can create a sub-culture within your team. There is no reason for you to not add to good culture. People shape the culture.
